YOU DIDN'T WANT ME

There I was walking through the puddled messy streets trying to make it on time for our scheduled date. It seemed to take forever to get to the bus stop but at last I made it. I saw the bus a block away and a smile came across my face. But in an instant it faded and I screamed in frustration as the bus sped down the street and splashed me from head to toe.
Our first date was already ruined. It couldn't get any worse I thought, but it did. I finally got to our meeting place still soaking wet and waited for you for hours under the pouring rain but you never showed. I was left disappointed. i was stood up again.
On my way back home you texted me and asked me where I was. You told me that you waited for but I never showed, but in fact it was you who didn't show; it was you who didn't want me.
It is hard to figure out some people. I am greatly disillusioned these days and I cannot seem to shake it. Your story makes me think of my situation in a way. Thank you for sharing, Lena. Love and best wishes,
