When Eddie and I were first married we went on vacation with my sister Vinnie, her husband Pat and Pat's brother Nick and his wife Fran. We went to a beautiful resort upstate. Vinnie, Fran and I thought we were knockouts in our slick bathing suits at the pool. the men were so proud to have such beautiful wives. The men were drinking and feeling good and everthing was prefect. That night we dressed for dinner and went to the dining room. My husband Eddie was very hungry, but the food was taking forever to come. so Eddie started to lose his appetite, so he made a big scene. he got up and left. I was so embarrassed, but made the best of it. When we were ready to leave i asked the waiter to pack up eddie's dinner so i could take it back to the room. When Eddie saw it he flipped out and throw the steak out the window. The next morning he was so remorseful he kept apolizing to everyone. As we were walking right in front to the dining room fthere was a great big tree and hanging off the branch was Eddie's prime rib steak just swinging back and forth.
A combination of too much testosterone and drink, I imagine. I understand why you were embarrassed by your husband's behavior. And the punctuation of seeing that steak hanging from the tree must have been either more humiliating or downright funny. I prefer the latter.
