What would a story be without a moral?

Epilogue�The Moral of the Story�

We wish for things unspoken
For desires left behind
Not seeing that things we sought for
Have been there all the time

The peace we think is missing
The wealth we guess has passed
The love we�d thought we�d lost
Opportunities that seemed masked

It�s somehow all now silly
The complaints we often logged
We wallowed in self-pity
And blamed it on a job!

But after we found hope
Gave in to change of mind
The future turned from bleek
To treasure awaiting find

This ditty will serve its cause
If those who feel so trapped
Will remember this cubicle story
Look back, forget, and laugh.
