But, you must sit still and be patient my friend. Wait upon the Lord. The gift of love is a beautiful thing but the Lord must have His hand in it.
He must do the arranging of the friendship...the joy that feels one anothers hearts.
The rejoicing of His holy name through praise and worship. The private time of asking for her hand in marriage. The announcement to the families. The putting together of the wedding plans.
True Love is being in love with the Lord. Then everything else will fall in it's proper place.
The Lord knows all and sees all...Put your trust in Him. The Lord will give us the desires of our hearts. Seek Him through much prayer and fasting.
Don't be persuaded by anything else. The devil is anxiously sitting back and lurking. He preys upon the weak and will do everything he can to cause you to fall to temptation. He desires to see the strong bow down to him and enter upon a level that is lower than low. He's a smooth operator if you don't watch out and be very careful.
Do you know you hold a treasure that is very special and unique? Do you know you are to guard and cherish it with all that you know how? Do you know that the Word of God can aide you in this very important area of your life my friend?
What the Lord has blessed you with young man and young woman treat it as precious as gold. Anything that you treasure and love you will protect it and keep it from a thief's view. So, protect the honor of yourself from the enemy who doesn't really care about you.
Love God then love you. And that's a order ((I wonder who I heard that phrase from)) ((smiles))
Be good to yourself and others that are around you. Below I have left my testimony in regards to letting the Lord place me where He wants to place me when it comes to that mate that He sees fit just for me.

Amen I had a talk with a saint and expressed what I felt within my heart when it comes to choosing a mate. And the simple fact of being in a hurry versus waiting upon the Lord.
You get tired of the dating scene. You get tired of trying to pick and choose...You get tired of the same ol' tired lines...You get tired of getting tired.
So, I said hmmm.. Lord, this time I'm truly waiting upon you. Why am I going to rush my life away over a piece of flesh?
Why am I going to get my hopes up high just so I can be let down within' a heartbeat?
You said that I am your child...You told me in your word to ask, seek and knock 3 simple things. But, for the most part of my life....I chose to rush, not wait and do it my way. My way has failed. But, you praise be unto you O' Lord..will never fail.
You have never failed me yet. I'm getting older and I'm getting wiser. I still need to have some things corrected about myself and only the Lord can do that at this given point in time.
I will sit back and relax...I will kneel down in prayer and fast....I will be patient don't care how I know what I desire. I will wait upon the Lord.
