We have all lived many lifetimes. Today I talked to a Hindu man, from the northern part of India...near the beautiful, and unfortunately fought over, country of Bangladesh.
He was the director of facilities at a place friend told me to visit, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and see the rich musical heritage that is Georgia's own.
Being me, I stuck up a conversation with him. We chatted for a minute or two, about the day, the climate, the facilities there....I have to pull up my Google Earth to see the facility was shaped like a piano from the air.
I asked him about one of his Hindu beliefs, Reincarnation.
He studied me for a instant, I guess to see if I was going to ask him to my church. But I know he saw in me the flame of a true seeker, so he opened up. He told me Hindu beliefs about the cycle of life and the many paths one may take to reach Nirvana. Then I asked him a specific question about the number of lifetimes we must be on this earth. Straight away he said "Forty Thousand".
Well, I have my own thoughts on this matter. I just sort of nodded and said, “Really”? I have never felt you must go through the whole cycle again once you rise to human form. I believe that once you are human, you stay on this plane until you learn humanly lessons like: the Golden Rule. If you don’t, you are bound to come back in a less advantaged human existence....Which would make some sense in explaining young father’s brain tumor. It could explain the Downs Syndrome child or the Mentally Retarded.
So I prefer to think of myself as a spirit without gender. That said, if you really need an earthly label for me....Think of me as a "Lesbian trapped in a man's body"
We are all the same in God's sight. He was called many names in the Bible, don't want to name them here, you know them anyway. I do love all the people of the world no matter what color or religion. Abiding by the Golden rule as best as I can too. This is a supreme and calm write. Loved it.
Isn't it amazing all the different religions there are here on earth? Hindu, Muslim, Judaism, Budahism, Christianity and all its factions, Paganism... Seems that they all touch on some basic similar theme though. Beatles--I don't know if "no religion too..." would make us better--Look at the former USSR--lack of religion didn't help them much. No. There has to be an embracing of all religions -- real, true tolerance -- not just touted tolerance. I've heard some ministers preach against other religions rather than preaching their own. --How wrong is that?! Tolerance--true, respectful tolerance! --Charlie

Well, I am new to AD, and just a reader not an author, but I have to tell you that I find your offerings unbelievable - REALLY unbelievable. By that I mean, your Bio is the largest accumulation of false, self-proclaimed accolades that I have ever read!
I guess that is why your writings are so verbose and flatulent - you have learned to elaborate and con quite well.
The only item that rings true in your writings is the mention of drinking too much. And I think you have.
It is our internal belief that matters most to oneself. This life is a personal journey and each of us I believe is given their own thoughts of the lesson they are hear to witness. It's a good subject with many answers. All would be the correct one. Lady J
