     Bill writes in his journal.

Saturday, March 31, 2007, 5:52 p.m., D.S.T., Nashville, Tennessee~

Dear Journal~

I just got up; I am waiting for the java juice to finish percolating. The little wife is sitting across from me, dressed in her uniform, ready to go to work. She is working until 7 in the morning and will not get off until 7 tomorrow night. Another double. She's working in the NICU, working with the tiny and sick babies.

She works tonight and tomorrow and then is on vacation for two weeks.

I am off today, my turn to be off this weekend (Friday-Sunday). I could have slept in, but I am hurting too bad. My joints feel just like the Tin Man's.

The kids are, for now, still asleep in their bedrooms. It's quiet now, but give it an hour or so. Things will change. I am going to take advantage of it while I'm ahead.

The weather is mostly clear, but by tomorrow evening, we may be in for some stormy times. NO KIDDING. I don't need the Weather Channel: my body is already forecasting rain and inclimate weather. (Just call me "The Human Barometer". LOL Yup. That's me, all over! LOL)

Well, Louie has just left, now it's just me, my inlaws, and the kids (not to mention, the animals) to fend for ourselves.

The kids are still out for the count. They decided to lie down for naps; they wore themselves out playing. My father-in-law, Armand, is up: he just strolled into the kitchen, his silvery hair sticking out in all directions. He looks like a plucked chicken. I can't help but to chuckle at the sight of him: he looks comical.

Yesterday night, our friend, Kendra Kent, who lives in California, called. She was in tears: it was hard to understand her at times. From what we could understand, her daughter, Kia, was gang-raped; she's now in the hospital, fighting for her life. They suspect it was some teenagers who had been teasing her in the past who were out to have some "fun". Poor Kendra is devastated.

We are going to have to do some heavy-duty praying; bad things are also happening to Audrey Callaway and Naomi Cohen. I don't know the exact nature of what it is going on, but I will have to pray for Audrey and Naomi as well, as well as Kia.

Our poor pastor is going to be very busy with all these prayer requests; so are our prayer warriors.

Whoops! I hear Arjun and Emir crying. They are waking up from their naps. It's time to put this down for the evening; wish it was ME going to bed; I'm TIRED. Will write in here in a day or so. Take care, and God bless!

~Bill.
