My father looked at me and was sad he was leaving and I knew it,he was going off to war and I tried
not to make it any harder for him,but it was not easy being six years old knowing your father would not return for four years. Now I had to help around the house be a man,but still he hug each of us one
more time,he smiled and said everything would be alright,I hug him and smiled back at him,but yet I
felt uneasy. Four years had passed and my father was coming home,as we sat eating breakfast suddenly
the phone rang, not long afterwards my mother then
started to cry,I got to my feet and looked at her ,
she told us our father died in the war,I ran to my room, lock my door fell on my bed, crying.I cried until I fell asleep and I dreamt I saw my father
and he said he was disappointed in me,Then I said
I was disappointed in him you told us you come back
and he explained what happened.I understood but that didn't make it easier,I woke up,stood too my feet and unlock the door to my room,I took a deep breath, now my mother needed me more then before out
of all of us she be hurting the worse, was selfish in thinking how I was hurting not anyone else and
yet I miss my father too.Still my pain was not as bad as what my mom would be going through I was the
man now I had duties to her and to the family,in any war families are important they hold a country
together they are strong and able. And believe in yourself and others never give up hope no matter what happens, especially during a tragic events with
hope there is continue for living to continue and we all must continue no matter what.end
