The past 5 years have been very difficult for me.  I have been in and out

of the hospital like a revolving door.  But, with each visit no matter how sick I

am there is always humor .This was one of my best.   

     I had to see my heart doctor and I can't walk well So, I took my blue ,

shopping cart and used it as a walker because from his waiting room to his

office is like walking 2 avenue blocks,  I have Heart failure and COPD and

it's very hard for me.  

     By the time i reached his offfice I was so out of breath I was gasping. 

They started to work on me immeadly and called an ambulance.  They came

quickly and put me on oxogen.  While we  were waiting for the paper work

one ems guy looks downat my sneakers, Suddenly, he said to mer, "What do,

you have on your feet?  They are  2  left sneakers. and they are both

different.:  I was so embarrassed.  I could plainly see they were trying not to

laugh. So I cheerfully said,  "When you get old , who looks."  That broke

the ice.

     Ready to leave they put me on a streacher, got all my belongings my

blue wagon and off we go.  The ambulance was in the street  so they roll 

me to it and start to roll me in .  It went on a little and got stuck.  I'm half in

and half out up in the air in front of a Medical Building.  Crowds were

gathering, people were gouging and the traffic was backing up.  

They had to call another ambulance for help. Now 4 men were pushing it

it bacvk and forth , finally I am loose.

     We finally arrive at the hospital and check in at the desk and I part

ways with the emt guys as they gave me all my belongings. The hospital

team takes over with vitals and roll me away. "do you have my blue

wagon: I asked and she said yes.  When I got to my little room I didn't see

my blue wagon so I asked "where is my wagon"  I drove the whole

emergency room crazy.  I made the guard go look for it.  He found it, but

said I had to leave it there until I get released.  I felt relieved .

Now it's time for me to get better.
