F Y I … PANDORA
OK Pilgrims - anybody out there ever listen to music there on your faithfful companion - your lil cell phone ?

Great ! A goodly gaggle of geese !
I discovered it several years ago and have been enjoying hundreds of hours of listening music for FREE - as long as you don’t mind a few interrupting occasional ads !
If you click on the little character carat ( pointing down ) on the top left of the screen, you can search for any singer or song title, and a list will appear. Then you can choose that Station ! I now have 52 stations !
About a week ago I discovered a station that I believe is quite UNIQUE !
It is called Platters Radio !
Rare Fifties Music !
What is different about it ?
I estimate that the greater majority of the “tunes” maybe even 75% - I NEVER HEARD BEFORE !
Even though they are by well known artists - my guess is they were all the “B” sides of 45’s that never became hits !
Many of them are by The Platters Themselves - songs by Elvis that I had never heard - Marty Robbins - Guy Mitchell ( click on his name and learn his biography - pretty amazing - he was 13 years older than me - the same age as my sister Rose ) - Nat King Cole - Sam Cooke - Bill Haley - The Drifters - The Penguins - The Supremes - The Chirelles - and many others !
Coincidentally - as I am typing all this, Pandora is Playing in the background & it is Nat - Right Now !
To all of you Old Whippersnappers out there - I am 83 - and listen mostly to Old Rock n’ Roll because that is what I grew up with, and danced to, and “swapped spit” to !
Because of the uniqueness of this Station I am truly just Discovering some Great Songs by Great Artists that are totally foreign to me !
Every time I leave the house, I plug my iPhone into the charging cord, mount it on the dash, and click on PANDORA !
OH - lest I forget - the Range of Stations available is Limitless!
R&R - Rock - Jazz - Classical - Bee Bop - Doi Wop - Hard Rock - Swing Music - even that Slop called RAP !
