The Day The Monster Came

Some say it was a monster , others said it was nature , then there was a rumour of a group of people using laser weapons for their own agendas but when it all happened and the fire storms came there was no tome to debate the issue . People began to , panic as the huge shadow crept across the land and the sky turned black before the wind started to drive the sparks ahead of the flames in the walls of a fire moving too fast .
In the beginning everything was thrown at the fires in an effort to contain them but there was no way that was going to happen as the coming wrath was quickly consuming everything that lay in its path .Everything surrendered to its fury .
The winds even ward changed direction as the monster rushed backwards out of control , turning around , twisting and spinning up hills and over forests and into towns burning homes and destroying hundreds of farms and livestock that were taken by the flames . They sent in helicopters to dump water on the flames but as they hovered overhead, they too paid the price for interfering with the huge fires on the ground . The faces of fire fighters on the ground was spread with fear in their duel at twenty paces from the line of the fight as they stood before the walls of flames rushing towards them with a roar that scared the daylights out of them , There was no rest for the firefighters and they all did their best , to defend however there was no mercy in the flames and nothing was spared when the monster came .
Thousands of homes were being destroyed every day and hundreds of lives lost . Families and friends were scattered and their lives were shattered and there was nothing anyone could do to stop the bush fires as the water supply had expired and there wasn’t enough manpower to fight the flames .
The sorrow and the suffering had just begun as the world watched the devastation spread out over all the land on television screens .
People in churches offered up prayers and communities and organizations sent food and clothing for the thousands who had lost their homes . Many sat on the side of the road with tears in their eyes looking up to a sky that had turned red as the flames leapt higher and higher devouring everything in its path .
All over the country there were candlelight vigils as more prayers were said .as the flames continued to burn with communities being told to get out while they still could.
There were fire storms all across the state and a wild hysteria ran through the towns as the fires got closer with hungry flames leaping and black smoke choking the sky .
Within the flames there was a monster no one had seen and it was growing stronger
As the little towns and country homes were devoured and exhausted fire fighters surrendered to the flames the entire nation was now in threat of being destroyed by the fire and all of the fires around the states were linking up into one huge uncontrollable monster . Every day more towns were lost . It was tragic to see how quickly this had become a national disaster .
The army and navy could not protect the country as more lives were lost and every minute that passed .
Thousands of ships with overloaded passengers were sinking as storms as sea with huge waves arose like mountains that headed towards the coast at speed . .
As the tidal waves fell upon the coastal cities and towns the flames were extinguished and the fires had been quenched at last .
Most of the life had gone but there were some survivors left to carry on telling the story about the elements of nature that went out of control and then resumed control
Somehow in the end everything returned back to normal and the rebuilding of cities began by first installing underground tanks that would hold an endless supply of water driven by turbojets from the ocean and rivers that could be used by a series of super strong hoses in concealed rotundas on the rooftops of tall buildings .
The construction of massive concrete dykes built around the coastline was another engineering masterpiece that had been started to protect countries from destruction by tidal waves .
In the future life on earth could be protected from monsters of attack from other sources
