Chapters 5 and 6 of A Child Sits and Waits …. Are too sexually graphic to put on Authors Den. These would be for mature audiences only. These two chapters tell in graphic detail what happened to the little girl after she had told the teacher about how the father was teaching her to love her daddy.

The father taught his little girl from a very young age, how to love her daddy the way he wanted to be loved by her. Not the love of a father and a daughter but the love of a woman and a man. This child had known no other way of loving a father because of his teachings. His perversion was so horrible the little girl feared for her life.

 She didn’t know if she could ever forget the pain that had been inflicted upon her. This was the way he taught her to love him. After a while she came to realize that something wasn’t right in her home life. No other little girls ever talked about loving their fathers in the manner in which she had been taught to love her father.

 She knew that God wouldn’t want love to hurt her like his kind of loving did. She just knew she wasn’t supposed to love the father in these ways. She was around the age of eight years old when she came to these conclusions. Now she just had to find ways of never being alone with him again. Ever !

The abuse this child was enduring didn’t end here but did evolve into physical abuse added to the sexual abuse. The little girl lived in total fear. Fear of the father and mother. Fear that no one would ever love her when she became a grown-up. She felt like she was dirty and tainted.

The up coming Chapters are about the move the family made after the Welfare had visited their home for an inspection. They are about the father and mothers discussion of the welfare visit. The things that happened to the child after she realized that things just weren’t right in her family. The mother and father were going to take their children out of a school system that questioned how they were raising their own children.They would go to a smaller town and to a different school system. One that didn’t know the family or their situations.

After all this was the 1950’s when fathers and mothers knew best how to raise their own children. The child continued to pray her prayer every night in hopes that God could help her when no one else would. She went to church with the mother every Sunday and prayed to God that the father would stop wanting her.Chapter 7 will continue shortly.
