Success Story
As I looked over the category from which to launch my "Success Story" it seems fitting that it should be filed under "Family." My first published work, "Lessons Learned on My Way Home" has been embraced by men, women and children!
I was pleasantly surprised when a family member called to tell me her 8-year old daughter had taken possession of her copy of "Lessons."
I knew the lessons shared within the book were universal, but I was still surprised when someone so young could pick it up and not want to let it go!
At my last public library signing and discussion, a childhood friend showed up! We went to kindergarten together! It was such a blessing to see her again. The response to Lessons has been phenomenal, from my pastors to my family, from the media to those I've only recently met.
Truly, God has blessed me to live my lessons and to pass them on.
