I saw you standing there today, alone, yet in a crowd
I wanted to come and stand with you, if only for awhile

I watched you struggle to find your way, unsure with every turn
And I wanted to lend my ear; reassure you of my concern

I heard you cry as your load grew strong
To myself, I whispered "Just hold on"

No longer will I just stand idly by
And within myself muffle your desperate cry

I'm here to listen, share and bear
A part of your burden...I'll help take you there

To a place of God-sufficiency
The place that you are destined to be

If my life's lessons can water your drought
I'm here my friend--I'll help you out

I know that there will be meat for me
As I feed you, I merely plant a seed

And harvest time will come for you and me
On different levels and in eternity.
