Hey Miss Darlene,
I'm about finished your novel, SWEETS. It's a really interesting story. You could have definitely made it a lot bigger with all the drama that ensues in the story. Just so you know, I plan to do a "Meet the Newbies" interview for the fall issue of The Nubian Chronicles--essentially, I will do quickie, "meet the author" interviews with three newbies on the scene -- you will be one of them. In a few weeks, I will send you the interview questions. For now, I'm going to work on finishing the reading of your book.
