High School basketball team member face consequences after mistreating sacred Native American Indian land.

While on a bonding camping trip, some high school basketball team members explore and desecrate beautiful territory once belonging to native American Indians. After returning from the trip, team captain Josh makes a hard copy of one of the selfies and distributes it among his teammates as a gift. Strange things begin to happen, and one of the teammates dies suddenly. In looking at the photo to reminisce, the team members begin to see strange changes in the photo itself. Not unlike the story of Dorian Gray, there are telltale signs and warnings as the boys realize that the picture has changed to depict their individual deaths! They must work together to figure out what they can do--if anything to prevent any more harm or deaths. It becomes a true race against supernatural forces that they do not understand.

Excerpt

Everyone made their best silly pose, and Josh clicked his cell phone again. After a few more pictures with different poses and different phones, the guys returned to camp, giving little more thought to the cave.
The evening continued with some stories and chatting, and eventually, the coach and dads made everyone settle down and get some sleep. They still had a long trip in the morning, and most of the guys, if not all, had homework to do.
On the way back Sunday, it was eerily still. Even the few squirrels that made themselves visible to the team seemed to keep a perimeter away, as if getting to close to the latter would harm them somehow. There seemed to be an invisible barrier, that once crossed, would harm them forever. The guys had had to pack up in a cold drizzle, and while the feelings among the teammates were genuine and good, the dreariness of the day seemed to hang over everyone, even the dads. They were friendly with each other, but there was no real sense of joy. Coach chalked it up to being tired and reality hitting them as far as getting their homework assignments and maybe other responsibilities done. Besides, a lot of these guys had part-time jobs and chores at home waiting for them. Josh said he thought they were all also a little melancholy that their fun time was ending.
Even the animals were quiet. It seemed as if there were not even any birds or squirrels to be seen. “We may be in for a storm,” Coach mentioned. “Animals are often quiet if they think bad weather is coming.”
“February sucks,” said Tyler. “That’s what it is.”
No one could disagree.
