He listened to the brush of her movements and the sure sounds of her steps. He watched the dish descending and was once again filled with ire. As he removed the lamp he found that she had added a writing tablet and a pencil.
“Thank you.”
“Your quite welcome, Sire.”
The very dim light overhead slowly moved into black and as the glow from the lamp illuminated his surroundings, he looked up and spoke vengefully, “I am a man-I am King, but I don’t think I’ll be able to watch,” the sliver of murky light had all but disappeared, when he screamed, “when your head rolls!!!”
