Listen, I have no new lists for you to memorize or new techniques for communication. There are some write-ups later on of really great books that do those things, written by therapists with good hearts. Get them. Use them. This won’t be the end of telling you to get good books on communication with your spouse because this book is different – it’s about a critical time before you take first steps in solid communication, when you ask why you should even try. If there is any question I want to answer, it’s “What should I do when I don’t care at all?” Those other good books are excellent at showing the way toward the light. This one is about what to do in a darker time.
