When a family buys an old house in the country they soon discover it is inhabited by demonic forces.

Michael and Sarah Stanton are looking for a place in the country to finish raising their three children, Marie, Junior, and Sherry. They find and buy one but it needs a lot of work.
When the house is almost ready to move into, Sarah and her girls spend a night alone in the house and discover that it is haunted.
While living in the house, the activity escalates, even though they are Christians who believe that Jesus can and will remove the evil from their new home.
They discover that satanic worshippers once used the house to torture their victims and offer up human sacrifices and are encouraged by their pastor to move.
Sarah stubbornly refuses to move and sets off a chain of events that spiral her family toward the shocking conclusion.

Then I forced my eyes away from theirs and I immediately felt sick. I wanted to close my eyes until they disappeared from my sight and yet I could not.
“We want your soul.” They said in unison, once again in the same cheery robot voices.
I shuddered and drew a deep breath.
“You can’t have what belongs to God.” I replied quietly.
They smiled.
“We know how to get what is his. Just look into our eyes and it will be… OH…SO…EASY.” They repeated the last three words with emphasis on each word.
I found myself drawn deeper into their eyes. I felt like I was being sucked in, like I was drowning in the pools of darkness that was within them.
