Hitler wants to rule the future. In the twenty first century, a man wants to cure disease, and is branded a scientific heretic. A group of people want to escape the draconian rule of the new Nazi regime. The Thousand Year Reich doesn't allow escape. Find out what happens in this speculative historical/futuristic adventure.
As the second world war draws toward its inevitable conclusion Hitler presses a forestry worker named Viktor Schauberger, who has invented an amazing power source, into the service of the Third Reich in the hopes that Viktor's repulsine design will provide the much needed final piece to the advanced, saucer shaped aircraft that the furor hopes will give the Reich a strategic edge over the Allies. What Viktor accidently discovers, however, is that his invention, the repulsine, has the capability to send people backward in time. With this discovery Hitler forms the "Bureau of Time Travel" in the hopes of manipulating history so that the Reich can ultimately rule the world of the future. The Thousand Year Reich is born. In the twenty first century a man, a lay scientist, hopes to invent a magnetic device that will cure the myriad diseases that plague the people of the new millenium. In the process of experimenting with his device he discovers that he has actually created a portal to another world. Emo hatches a plan to take as many people as he can through this portal, to the new world to escape the madness of the twenty first century and the modern Nazi regime and, hopefully, to save the seed of the Human Race. Meanwhile, The draconian government of the near future, which results from Hitlers time manipulations, has brought the world to war. The new Nazi regime, now called Zeldarck, controls all science, religion, media and education, and is working on its own new and improved device, based upon Schaubergers original designs. The Thousand Year Reich, the Zeldarckians will not tolerate scientific heresy. They must stop Emo from leading his band of renegades, blasphemers against the order of things, from escaping their iron fisted power. A confrontation is inevitable. Find out what happens in "Blasphemer". The first two books, "the Time Conspiracy", and "the Heretic", combined in this volume, will take you through ten thousand years of historical possibility and into another realm of speculation that could be our future. If you are one of those people who likes the "what if?" factor, then Blasphemer is your next must read.
Excerpt
I adjusted each consecutive set to a harmonic frequency of the one before it. Slowly, a little here, a little there, I made smaller and smaller adjustments, then, suddenly, there was a brilliant flash of light, and an odd “pop”, or, actually, a sound more like an un-pop, or, a pop in reverse, if that’s possible. It felt like a giant wave of water washed over me. I panicked and dropped to the floor, thinking that possibly the thing had exploded, and I might be injured and not even know it. Just then Dolores came running into the garage. The wide-eyed look of fear and panic on her face confirmed what I knew she was thinking. I knew that she thought that I had blown the garage and myself all to hell, or worse. When she saw me crouched on the floor by the workbench she ran over and crouched beside me, holding tightly to my arm as she buried her face in my shoulder, and looked sideways at the machine that occupied the center of my shop. Suddenly it was absolutely calm. There was no sound, not even the sound of our breathing. All we could hear was the whine of the spinning rotors, which sounded as if it were somewhere in the distant background. They had apparently found a point where they balanced themselves out, and were now singing, spinning nicely while creating what I can only describe as a chord of sorts, a kind of celestial music, I guess. They made a sound that was kind of like fast running water and wind, but not quite, mixed with a most beautiful continuous chord of harmonics that sounded like the voices of angels. Dolores and I looked at each other, and then, slowly, cautiously, we rose still holding each other tightly. I looked at my controls, and then at Dolores, who was staring, dumbstruck, mouth hanging open, at the spot where the machine had been. I hesitatingly followed her gaze, and when I saw what she saw, my mouth also fell open. Together we stood in dumb rapture at what we were both seeing. The area where the machine should have stood was enveloped in a blue light that seemed to come from nowhere, yet seemed to come from everywhere. There was a perfect sphere of hazy blue neon like light that hung in the air where the machine had once been, but the device itself had seemingly vanished. The beam of electromagnetic energy that I had hoped for did not appear to exist. The only evidence that anything was happening was the neon blue ball of energy that hung in the air before us, that, and the greenish blue fog that roiled about the level of the floor, whisping up to about two or three feet into the air. Occasionally thin, blue, multiple tendrils of blue lightning would shoot silently from the center of the neon globe, smack the corrugated roofing metal with a gunshot report, and then dissipate while making crackling, sizzling sounds. Some of the fine blue sparks would then spread out to creep across the roofing metal, and down the walls, disappearing into the blue-green fog near the floor. The display was a bit like a giant version of the plasma balls that had become popular in the eighties. Dolores and I slowly turned to look at each other, mouths still agape, then returned our gaze to the spectacle before us. I kept my grip on Dolores’ arm as I began to regain my composure and turned to begin manipulating the dials that controlled the frequencies of the rings of coils. Each tiny adjustment of the knobs was followed by a small shift in the size, color, and apparent density of the sphere of what can only be described as intense plasma energy. I tried to keep my wits about me enough to record each frequency set, and the corresponding changes in the phenomena, but, frankly I was too engrossed in what was happening here, and so my notes became more of a random collection of confused thoughts that I jotted down as I proceeded to play with the controls. Next I began changing the speeds of the rotors themselves, first one, then the other. I played with them until, finally, I had achieved what seemed to be the brightest, strongest, most concentrated aura, and then I recorded the settings. Returning to the frequency controls I tried several different sets of frequencies and their harmonics. Suddenly my efforts were rewarded with another brilliant flash of colored light and another wave of invisible water. I looked at Dolores as we staggered under the weight of the non-existent tsunami, and could see that she was starting to enjoy this. I changed settings, turned dials, and tried to record each change. I looked over at Dolores again As I made another adjustment. At that moment another invisible wave radiated from the energy sphere. She was holding her breath and pinching her nose as if she were actually diving under water. Later, when I asked her why she had done this, she simply stated that she couldn’t breathe for a moment when it happened, and that it was just like diving into water. I hadn’t thought about it at the time, but, she was right. Each wave was like a vacuum that took the air from the room for a moment as it passed. I began to move toward the machine and its glowing spherical aura, hand outstretched, like a mesmerized man, or a zombie, blindly groping for whatever I might find before me. Dolores, who still clung tightly to my arm, made little hesitating, shuffling sidesteps, staying with me as I advanced toward the device. I pushed her back toward the workbench and motioned that she should stay there. Her wide-eyed look of fear moved furtively from me to the machine and then back to me. I gave her a reassuring nod, and then returned my attention to the machine that I could not see, but knew should be there, somewhere. I reached out my right hand toward the center of the glowing blue mass of energy as I approached. Blue lightning flew from the sphere and engulfed my hand in a glove like web of energy. Instinctively I jerked my hand away, leaping backward as I did, and stumbling over poor Dolores as I leapt. Dolores fell backward because I had landed with my foot standing on her foot, and I barely caught her before her head would have struck the roughly cut workbench. I knew that if this was plain old, garden-variety house electricity my hand would be burnt and really hurting right now, but it wasn’t. In fact, it was cold. We stood looking at each other, dumbfounded, for a long moment. Suddenly, I could no longer stand the tension. I looked at her with a wild mad scientist expression on my face, hunched my back and wildly wrung my hands, knitted my eyebrows maniacally then reached to the sky with both hands like someone healed at a revival and shouted, “it’s aliiive!” followed by maniacal laughter and more insane hand wringing. Dolores looked at me in stunned silence as if I were indeed totally insane. In another moment the joke grenade went off and she got it. We both broke into raucous laughter.
