Rafe Perez loves the rainforests of Brazil  where he is a guide taking parties out to meet tribes and view the animals. However, because of something that happened in their past, he is forced by Colin Matheson, the director of a logging company that he despises, to take his daughter on an expedition into the Xingu forests. Headstrong Gina Matheson is writing a book and take photographs of the forest and from her forthright manner it is very clear that sparks are going to fly between her and Rafe, when he takes two other people for company, the beautiful Elena and her partner, the Greek, Sinon.
