Quirky stories talked, not written, as bizarre and crafty as it happened between my voice and the keyboard.
Mostly for sheer fun. The titles are one word each, to which I have to adhere diirectly. The boy from "Scarves" in First Snap of Winter is here, cutting wide swathes through stories, including being the ultimate critic, hopping down the bunny trail, as others consider a super hero who discovers the healing of a sickness of those who wear capes, as I vocally acted out and for a time became, scaring the cats, that eye obsessed surgeon, or the doctor with a lethal thing for ties, a mention one summer night of a monster lizard next door, with a follow up story on the importance of rice pudding in a school where no one ever leaves, a wish to be a fly on the wall that comes true, and a clinging to prosaic to keep sane, in worlds more than a little out there, getting funny in the head as I could.
Then. My heart in my 15 autumn. And a January soft day of snow and gold when God created all the beauty there is, a day the center of 2 years when friend becomes universes, when absolute center of all creation is reached, where the sun comes to know a smile could save all the sadness that is man. To reflect in a January day when a wealth of snow brought the only world then and yet to know. Whisper the sky cracking open in wonder and happiness, say the name. Joel.
