A New Perspective on Decision Making covers the idea that we can be grateful in the face of great difficulties or we can complain in paradise. The choice is ours. I help the reader to make better decisions by pointing out 10 factors that go into our decisions. I point out that we can choose "how" we perceive things, which enables true freewill. By learning these 10 factors, we can choose to use our freewill to maximize our gratitude in the face of adversity. Our perspective is either subject to our freewill, or our freewill is subject to our perspective. Learn “how” to put things in their proper perspective in this book.
A New Perspective on Decision Making explains and incorporates the philosophies of Perspective Shift Therapy in the area of decision making. I have revealed ten areas or factors that make up our initial perspective in this interesting yet short book. Our initial perspective develops as we grow, instinctively, without being verified in many cases. Our perspective is what we have used as a basis, or foundation, for every decision we have ever made, and will for every decision we will make. Before reading this book, our initial perspective, generally speaking, has gone unchecked or perhaps unverified.
We need to see that our initial perspective is the predominate factor in our decision making process and be able to examine it to make sure it is accurate. Our perspective will alter our decisions one way or the other. We must take control of our perspective, and use the eleventh factor, our choice, to decide how we want to perceive things. We can learn to investigate reality instead of just taking for granted that all the information that comes to our mind is truth! Generally speaking, our perspective is only as accurate as the people whom we leaned on for advice. It may have truth in it to some extent, but may also be inaccurate in other respects. Learning how to choose our perspective is extremely important.
As we broaden our awareness of our perspective factors, we automatically broaden our awareness of all the decisions available to us. By broadening the awareness of our perspective and our decisions, we become better aware of the consequences of our actions so we can make better decisions! This is an ongoing process, one which we get better at with time. We may never be perfect at making decisions and avoiding mistakes, but we can get very good at it! Are you making the best decisions you can possibly make? Is the perspective you grew up with running your life or are you? Find out in this adventure through the most intricate aspect of the human mind - perspective!
Excerpt
This book is about the concept of perspective and how it shapes and lights our world. It colors everything we see, and determines how we react more so than even our person or spirit does, initially. For we can only react to what we perceive, be it accurate or inaccurate, correct or incorrect. There are eleven main factors that contribute to our perspective and how it is generated. Becoming familiar with these eleven factors will help you learn how to choose the road you drive, or the life you live, more wisely. You too can be grateful, happily driven by the road you have chosen!
Eleven Factors that Shape and Form our Perspective:
1. “Our personality.”
2. “The basic logic from our initial programming.”
3. “Our needs.”
4. “Our Beliefs Formed from Past Experiences”.
5. “Which emotional state we are in.”
6. “What we feel entitled to and what we feel we’re not entitled to.”
7. “What we think is the right or wrong thing to do.”
8. “What we think or perceive our options to be.”
9. “Whatever it is that we believe is actually
happening.”
10. “Whether or not we believe we have control over ourselves and/or life, circumstances, events, things and/or people.”
11. “Our Power of Choice over our perspective is the
strongest Perspective Factor and is the one that
gives us true freewill!”
