A collection of short-short stories that cover the gamut that includes crime, horror, love, sci-fi, time travel, and more.
When I wrote 200 Shorts, my follow-up to Flashing My Shorts, I tried my best to make the short-short story collection interesting to a wide reading audience in search of their money's worth. I wanted them, not only to have a book to read, but a book to read again and again.
My flash fiction stories do not exceed 1,000 words, and some are as brief as 100 words. None are longer than two and a half or three pages. It offers the kind of entertainment people in a hurry and people at their leisure are looking for.
Published by All Things That Matter Press, 200 Shorts is available at Amazon.com.

Look at Me
It was the old story of the guy who calls the plumber for a leaky toilet, but when the plumber comes to check it out, the leak is gone.
Randall woke in the early hours, his belly on fire, it seemed, so he reached for the switch and let there be light.
Burning eyes drifted down his bare chest and then locked on the ugly red jagged surgical scar coursing down to his groin.
“Calm down,” he said aloud, “you’ve had horror dreams before.” Still, the rapid fire of his pounding heart felt and sounded too much like in the real world.
A pladge of wingless wasps, mandibles chomping, dug bloody inroads along the torn scar until he could see his intestines exposed and pulsing.
With one hand gripping his side and the other futilely slapping away at the wasps, Randall dragged himself to the next apartment where his friend Dr. Tim Morton finally answered the long buzz of the doorbell.
“Tim, look at me!” Randall screamed, moving his hand so Morton could see the assaulted scar, the insidious wasps, the drawn blood, his visible intestines, but the doctor looked and both of them saw nothing there except for Randall’s think pink scar.
Relieved, he headed back to bed, lay there with the light on, and then the agony came back, the black wasps devouring his flesh, and now white bubbles…eggs!…dropping onto his intestines.
Exhausted, he let himself fall asleep, wondering, Will I recognize tomorrow, if it comes?
