Mr. Wyckoff has written a unique and driven page turner borne out of one of history's crucibles; the collision of Christianity in its infancy and the Roman colossus at its worst. By marrying an unerringly accurate and earthy historical depiction of those times and places; The desert, the Galilee and Jerusalem, - with the demonically possessed, with murdering Bedouin thieves, Jewish religious scoundrels and peoples resolute in their new found faith in Christ, Wyckoff has produced a singularly gripping book I embraced and finished on day two.

This was a phenomenal read, one of the best books I've picked up in a while. I loved watching Brae's characters interact with well-known Biblical characters, shedding new light on so many familiar stories. Each part of the plot was masterfully weaved, creating a beautiful, heart-wrenching, terrifying, and thrilling adventure from the first page to the last. I highly recommend Demons & Thieves to every lover of fiction and theology alike.
My first book review, it was that good
WOW! What a story. Brae captures the essence and emotion of each individual that we read in Scriptures. He adds so much depth and personality to each person that you feel like you truly understand the why behind their choices. I could not put the book down, so much so I was reading it before work, on my lunch break and at night before bed. I have already started to read this book again because I feel like there is so much more I will get this next time around. Please purchase this book, you will not regret it.
