Corr Syl the Terrible, a Science Fiction novella by Garry Rogers, is set in a world where animals, referred to as Tsaeb, are more civilized than humans, but both species live on the same planet. The story centers around two Tsaeb warriors, Rhya Bright and Corr Syl - both rabbit descendants - and their collision with a power-hungry, ruthless and conniving human enemy - Ya Zhōu. Rhya was on her way to the Continental Center to work on an important project concerning humans when she was betrayed by her traveling companion and abducted at the orders of Ya Zhōu. Ya Zhōu's intended target was Corr and he was merely using Rhya as bait, but when he learned how truly skilled she was, he realized he could use her to further his agenda of controlling the military. On hearing the news of Rhya's abduction, Corr - who stayed behind on a separate mission - immediately launched a search for his dear friend. Using a super sophisticated Tsaeb warship - Z99 - Corr travels in search of clues about how, why and where Rhya was taken, but Ya Zhōu would not be an easy target to track.
