for the noir fans, an omniscient kill or be killed novel.
“Power! And Privileges!”
These are the things Thomas Braying was promised as he stared into the eyes of his new Boss, but strangely enough he wasn't at all excited about them, in fact it is safe to say he was far away from those thoughts.
He stood amongst men from one of the most vicious Cartels, trembling on his cold feet. He didn't belong in that crowd, and he knew it; But what was he supposed to do, the world had already shunned him hard, depriving him all of his dreams and making sure that he’d never see the light from them. And so, he saw his life as either standing there and pretending to be some hard-core criminal, or living on the streets like a drunken hobo. And it is by this theme, that I’d hope you’ll enjoy this novel and meeting its hero…
Blurb:
Thomas Braying, a once promising journalist from the Neiburg daily, has had his fair share of the endeavours of life. He is now at the edge of his own orchestrated doom; a fate that has not only culminated from his divorce but also from his drinking habits. To which seems that the only one thing that is helping him cope, is also destroying him. His boss is threating to dismiss him, unless if he takes the only chance he has of getting his old job back, and that is to go undercover and investigate one of the city's most notorious gangs, the Sanchez drug cartel. Join our hero as he tries to balance the good and evil that’s within him, as he tries not only to control the cartel but also keep the city safe and protect his family and friends, against rival gangs and corrupt officials without exposing himself.

Chapter VI Meet The Daughter. Section I
The sun was shining into the glass panes, it lit the hallway in a golden afternoon glow,
to which everything was perfect, perfect for her arrival: unintuitive to my thoughts at
the time. I was holding a box card with her name on it when she waved.
Young Miss McLain with pale caramel skin, crystal brown eyes which were covered by dark
brown bee shades, wore a brown straw hat that covered her shiny long curled afro: which
kept bouncing off with the wind. She was wearing a white mini-dress decorated with pink
flowers, to which it exposed her long pale legs. Her pink toes were grasping on the
sandals she wore, they kept on slapping on the floor as she moved. If I had ever believed
in a goddess called Aphrodite, then this would be her.
Maria, raised in the Mafia and educated by the gangs of New York, is hunting the man who killed her Akalina, and she will kill anyone who gets in her way.
