One day a little fairy named Evolea, was resting on a porch feeling the energy of the wind when, two people came up the walkway. A mother and daughter gave each other a long peaceful hug. Evolea was impressed on how much energy the two caused. She reached out and touched it making her little wings flutter about.

         Later that evening, Evolea wondered what she could do so others could experience the intense qualities that the hug generated. She asked a fairy elder for her guidance. “I guess you could always bottle it” she responded with a giggle and in a flash disappeared into the forest.
         “A great idea that is what I will do. I will bottle the hug energy and send it on its way too many in the hopes that it will start a chain of loving hug power.” Evolea whispered her idea to the goddess of the wind who liked her idea and offered to help. The next day, when a soft breeze woke up little fairy Evolea, she started on her mission with a sunlit basket.

First, Evolea went to some people celebrating a family reunion. There was plenty of hug power to collect there. It tickled Evolea’s tiny fingers as it dropped inside the basket. Than, she entered a school and was able to get some good praise hugs and hand shakes that the teachers were giving their students.

Evolea even gathered some special energy from the animals because, they are known to give hugs of love and recognition to each other during the twilight time. When a little boy gave his cat a hug, Evolea was there to benefit from their energy and store some in her basket.

 Evolea basket started to over flow with hug energy and when it couldn’t take another drop, she was ready to go to the task of releasing it. She found a spot in a cloud that was just right because it moved along at a perfect pace. Reaching into the basket she lightly sprinkled the hug energy out and watched as the goddess of the wind took it off.

         Little rainbows formed in the drifting power that made Evolea feel that her hug energy was being received. Sometimes it appeared to set up a dominos effect that caused an avalanche of hugs to be passed around from one person to another. It was a beautiful sight.

         A Fairy elder came by and smiled at what little Evolea was doing. “Do you know, dear one,” she began to speak, “that your thoughts have as much power of that which you collect so when your basket is empty just search your heart and send that along.” Evolea was grateful for her advice.

Evolea was so excited about her new knowledge that she felt it deserved being brought into the consciousness of others. So, one night she visited the porch she originally went to and whispered in the ear of the sleeping child. She said “Think hugs pass it on” and Hug Power heals.

When the child woke up she went straight to her desk. She started to make bumper stickers and buttons with her toy button maker. It was such a big hit in school the principal decided to make it their school year mottos. There wasn’t a single wall in school that didn’t have the slogan “Hug Power”

Evolea’s wings received a special ray of honor for her good efforts that shinned on for all to see. If you see the fairy on a breezy summer night, be sure to send her a kissing hug with your thoughts for she will be sure to get it.
