Elise Abram Gives you a fresh take on Paranormal Fantasy, fresh voice in YA Literature is really sums up her talented writing i zoomed through this book with in two days it was like watching TV for my eyes ;) This book reminded me so much of Angel the TV show where they save innocents and they have a seer that is always in danger because of their visions. I really loved the dynamics of the characters especially Zulu i found him to be very witty and charismatic and resourceful and i felt that the Seer and Kat were like his sidekicks through out the story and to be honest all the action packed moments in this book left me sitting on the edge of my seat it really felt fast paced but easy to understand and easy to jump into this world and really relate to the characters and connect with them in so many ways. Honest and true writing that really is gripping and funny and makes adventure seem exciting even in sticky situations when everything is on the line and lives are at stake. I like how there is a combination of Fantasy and Sc-fi as well as action really does this book justice. The characters fly off the pages and makes you really feel like your with them in the story right there in the front lines. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Indie Authors and Sci-fi/Fantasy books that really help you get over your book hangovers.

Plot twists and turns will keep you turning pages, but it is the sensitively drawn characters that will keep you thinking about The Revenant long after you’ve put it down.

Abram has a knack for developing interesting characters. She first introduces us to Zulu, whom you believe, at first, to be an ordinary teenage boy, until we find he is an extraordinary teenager with superhero tendencies, a saviour of the people, so to speak.

Similar to Zulu, Kat is also a teenager, but this young woman is able to read people's auras. Together with Zulu, they form a teenage duo who try to make sense of visions of the future that they have been shown by a father figure known as The Seer.

In direct opposition to these two, is Malchus, who has risen from the dead with the sole purpose to seek revenge. This sets up a classic conflict of good versus evil, the saviour versus the killer. It is these opposing forces that move the story along with the twists and turns of this intense journey.

Author Elise Abram's new novel, may be titled The Revenant, however I see it more as relevant.
