TWO KILLERS. ONE CITY. NO MERCY.

TWO KILLERS. ONE CITY. NO MERCY.

Claire lost Tom, the love of her life, to the Catholic Church. When an unforeseen message from him arrives asking to meet up, Claire can't resist the hope that love might be reignited. When Tom disappears and a world of death and betrayal collide, Claire uncovers ugly truths about the past that threaten her and the whole of humanity.

Was it July 4 2012 when the killing began? History tells it differently. From the 1930s onwards genetic experiments were conducted without mercy. Life was ignited in the petri dish. In 1974, the first opened their eyes.

And so begins the discovery of one of history's darkest secrets. From the evil of Nazi Germany to the fear trodden streets of London, from a desperate search for love and truth that spans Southern and Eastern Europe, from the evil of humanity to its purest expression Claire faces the biggest challenge of her life and that of the whole world.

SEEING IS BELIEVING

‘National Socialism... the interest of our people undoubtedly lies in the rigorous establishment of a German order... without paying any attention to the claims [of people living there.]’

Josef Goebbels,
Reich Minister of Propaganda

TRUTH

By Ethel Bedford (1892-1979)

Truth is the zenith for our lives.
It brings peace within when we reach its height.
Never descend from its peak
And give deceit and illusion a place in the light.

Dear Reader

Planning is complete. The Network – the Fourth Reich is on the verge. Their evil tide of history has been rolling in for over seven decades now. We all know deep down, sense this truth, that the fear of it happening is real. Fear about the far-right, Nazism, has never really left our consciousness has it? For good reason, the Fourth Reich has no intention of ebbing. Not now.

You should know that I have met some of the people in this story. When I first received their account I was struck with astonishment and disbelief. Blood relations and ‘blood brother and sister relations,’ I thought, are the bonds we should do our utmost not to sever. But sometimes in the mists of chaos, blood relationships can be our downfall.

I have pieced together facts wherever possible, used hidden records unearthed by others and had access to private diaries. I have merged these fragmented pictures of events over time and space and sewn them all together with the first-hand accounts. I will upload all of the documents and the video files as soon as I can. However, I warn you now, some of the reading and the viewing may turn your stomach. So be it. The truth must be told. There is a conspiracy. It is real.

Herein lies the foundation of the research uncovered, the insidious manipulation and use of reproductive technologies, for not all man-made things dangerous in the world are stored in underground bunkers or held in laboratory isolation facilities. Not all seemingly innocuous activities are safe. As always, the hand that holds the instrument seals the fate of its innocent subject. For good or evil intent, for reckless or determined action, all of life can pivot on one decision, one act and one successful experiment.

Unseen powers may try to dismiss these claims that the world you are about to read about exists. They dismiss world-wide conspiracies out of hand. Most of us do too, don’t we? But I urge you; look always for those grains of truth. They are dotted out there, trapped behind firewalls, hidden in war archives and blended into everyday structures of society

ONE:THE MASK OF ANARCHY

By Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)

Written on the occasion of the Peterloo Massacre, Manchester

And he wore a kingly crown;
And in his grasp a sceptre shone;
On his brow this mark I saw -
'I AM GOD, AND KING, AND LAW!

Wednesday, July 4, 2012 – Friars Mead, Tower Hamlets, London

The itch in the killer’s mind had become insane. He could not resist it. He did not, in the end, want to. He scratched at the scab and felt the venom rush like a Japanese commuter train up through his brain and into the sinews of his body. The rush was raw and visceral.

The venom had been on a slow release burn, hidden, a serpent waiting to spit, to urge him, to drive him, to force him to kill. And he did. And the first killing felt so good, so right. God’s justice.

The power he felt over the final moments of death was an intoxicating drug when the last fragments of life convulsed as his victim fought back with one last surge to survive, until the grip of death twisted the final juices of life out of its prey. The man’s tongue turned blue, then black. Froth, spittle and then blood oozed out of his mouth. The dark brown hairs across the murderer’s forearms formed an ebony river coursing over his tattoos. Try as they might, the hairs were unable to cover the images.

On his left forearm, the words, ‘I am God and King and Law’ encircled a scale of justice icon. On his right, in blood red ink the following words had been scored, ‘The Mask of Anarchy’. Underneath, a gruesome smiling face of death was wrapped in the grip of a hissing serpent...

Professional Reviews

It's one of those walk along with your head in a book books....the first book I've LOVED in a very long time
Fast paced, breath stopping, tear- jerking, masterpiece. These are just a few words to describe this book. Blood Relationships is the first book that I've loved for a very long time. It is the kind of story that engrosses you - I found myself thinking about the characters and the plot, wondering what would happen next whenever II wasn't reading it. When I was reading it, I didn't want to put it down. It's one of those walk along with your head in a book books.

I really connected with the characters - gut wrenchingly hating some of them, and platonically falling in love with others. The human connection that this author creates is exquisite. I fell into their world of chaos, love, destruction, compassion, pain and defiance and was swept away by the magnitude of history and conspiracy. I was on tenterhooks, willing for things to happen or not to happen.

I expected a normal historical thriller and was met with something so much more.Thriller, history, conspiracy - cunningly intertwined with a love story (or two); with philosophy and poetry beautifully juxtaposed and resonating with the story. It is a book that speaks to you on so many levels - and a book that should be read by all. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended. Vivid and mesmerising, blood curdling yet beautiful. Fantastic writer, I can't wait for the next book in the trilogy!

Amazing Read- Highly Recommended
Wow! This is one of the most absorbing novels I have read in a long time. Modern history has been very cleverly intertwined with the present to bring a plot that is refreshingly original and frighteningly plausible but all the more gripping for that. The book took me on a real roller coaster of a journey; from the depths of despair and terror to the strongest emotions of love, hope and faith. The descriptions of places and settings, of the characters and their emotions really drew me in, creating powerful emotions for me, as the reader. I was so gripped and also so moved by certain passages I thoroughly recommend this book, you won't be let down and I cannot wait for the next two instalments to see what unravels.

I absolutely loved this book!
Gripping from beginning to end. Beautifully written, meticulously researched, with believable characters. A chilling, contemporary artistic thriller, full of fascinating historical insights. A gripping plot providing a truly terrifying yet moving account of what the future might hold. For me, the author mixes science with the arts effortlessly, to brilliant effect - not easy to achieve. A must for those who continue to believe in humanity, in this crazy world, and are able to think for themselves. Definitely recommended.

Epiphany by Gary Stephens

“We’re going to use nine megaton warheads in space and we’re not sure they’re large enough to be effective. Why would you even consider using kiloton-range surface-to-air warheads as back-up?” The answer was succinct. “Because they’re all we have.”
