My love grew through the night on the crow's endless flight, and as the one that I love returned with her loving words, my heart was again empowered with love only she would come to know, and I married her. When I Dream is poetry that makes my heart sing. Helen really has the talent to do that. I recommend this book for all poetry lovers. The more I read it, the better I like it! Helen is multi-talented in that she writes poems, is an artist with photography & also of painting. try her book (s). You will love them. =)

i have read helen's first book "color of my soul" and i loved it so much that i bought her new book"when i dream". helen is very imaginative and passionate when she writes her poems.as a descendant of the sammi people she can totally realte to the native american experience.i thoroughly enjoyed her new book and will re-read it again and again.i love her poetry so much i read color of my soul going on my 7th time.i recommend both of her books to anyone who appreciates poetry. i gave her books 5 stars, that the highest i can go if not i would have given it 10 stars.By Robert Cortes on May 30, 2010
