All was quiet. Hundreds of Corrigon were dead, and sprawled across the field. The scepter was smoking as General Viane approached it with caution. The stone on the top of it was now completely shattered. He stared into the faces of the others, who were stricken with worry as to whether or not the royal family had made it safely through the portal. All they could do now, was wait to see what the fate of their world would be.

When can I get the new book?
This was a great story of fairies and dragons and all the intrigue that goes with it. Story was not my usual genre but found it compelling and hard to put down. Finished it in no time at all. Fun read - cannot wait for the second installment!

Draconeum and the Orb of Light is an engaging fantasy fans of the genre will find entertaining. The heroine’s realization of who she is and what power she possesses is paced well. The descriptions of the world of Draconeum are colorful and spark one’s imagination. There are several obvious typos and misspellings, however, along with an overuse of adjectives and adverbs in some sections that bog down the overall reading experience. Overall, Draconeum and the Orb of Light is an entertaining fantasy novel with an engaging main character. I look forward to the next books in the series and seeing the heroine travel back and forth between our world and the wonderful world of Draconeum.
