Texas Ranger Major Ricky Strong and Senator Christine Richmond strive to maintain their "friendship" as they become embroiled in situations that could make or destroy their careers. Astoundingly Good
This was one of the best I've ever read in this genre. Loved the main characters and that the book was set in Texas. As a native South Texan, the book was spot on in regard to geographical detail. Loved that the book was long and involved several different stories that all came together very well. My interest never lagged. It was fun to read a thriller, mystery and romance all in one. Not heavy on the sex part but was very entertaining on the mystery and thrills. Also, was a nice change to read a book that expressed many of my own politicaI beliefs. I have to admit that I was a tad bit shocked at the end even though I had solved part of the puzzle. If you are questioning whether or not to read this book----Do It! Hoping for more books like this from Ms. Wade.

Great read. Wonderful story. The character were amazing, strong beautiful women. Something I love reading about. A beautiful love story in the midst of murder, mystery and intrigue.
A Wonderful Read
I'll be honest, I didn't have a clue who the bad guy was right up till I had read 99 percent of the book, and that's only because they told me! I believe that Ms. Wade could continue with the adventures of Christine and Rickey! Of course, it's a great stand alone read. This one will keep you on your toes from beginning to the end.
