The terrible tale of the Scottish cannibal Sawney Bean is told by Agnes Bean, his last remaining child, on the eve of her execution. She tells of her savage family life and of the hundreds of travellers who were butchered and eaten over the 25 years of Sawneys gruesome reign. To a scribe she spills her heart, himself a victim of the fiends.
The scribes saga takes us to King James who led his army to destroy the cannibals.
But it did not end there.
An incest begot son of Sawney escaped the captive and secured a place on 'The Lion', Raleighs ship that was bound for the new world.
A huge brutish chills, Billy Brown escapes the fort and is raised by native Algonquin indians who praise the boy as a sun God with his halo of red hair.
With his fanatical band of devotees the devils scion was to spread a whirlwind of terror throughout the new world.
