A MUST READ! What an amazing journey God has taken Dawn through to be able to write this book. Even though I don't have these exact struggles, we all have struggles. I found it so inspiring and encouraging to see how God will fight for those who are His. Praise God! With out Him these struggles are hopeless and in darkness. This book is full of hope and light. This book is a must read if you are a counselor or a friend helping someone through the illness of Bipolar or the emotional traumatizing effect of sexual assault. The author is very articulate in describing the depths of living with these handicaps, but also able to give you encouragement and understanding along with great humor!

Fascinating look bringing a face to struggles few are courageous enough to share. Other reviews are right on about the timeliness and usefulness of this for understanding mental illness and sexual struggles but I had to give in and write a review that mentions what an enjoyable read this was in the process! This author could be a stand up comedian in their spare time. At times roaring with laughter other times weeping when healing relief was held at bay. I could not have asked for a better nor easier read to help relate to struggles I see in friends and family around me. So glad I was led to this book, purchasing 3 for others I know who desperately need this message of honesty hope and humor.
This book has been eight years in the making. It is mostly a jumble of thoughts written down in old spiral notebooks and hidden in the bottom drawer underneath various manuals for software packages and hardware long since turned obsolete.
