A poetic search for meaning as a boy struggles to become a man.
In his first book of poetry Ron Howard invites you on a journey of discovery, a search for meaning that spans eighteen years in the life of a young man who is seeking to find his place in a world he does not understand.
Join him as he seeks to find the answers to love and relationships, friends and family, and his purpose in life. The author invites you to share in his pain, his sorrow and his joy. In doing so, you can experience life through another’s eyes and maybe gain a new perspective in your own life. While we all take different roads in this life the scenery is often the same, take comfort in the fact we are never as a lone as we sometimes feel.
Excerpt
A Knight’s Plea
Come take a ride
and ye shall see
I am thy knight
with noble steed
Here to save thee
from toil and grief
I'll smite thy foes
and bring relief
My heart’s desire
is to be at thy side
protecting thee always
though enemies deride
The gift of thy love
is my only reward as
I battle to keep thee
with lance and sword
For me there's no life
without thy love
and I'll fight to keep it
on Earth and above
I am thy knight
and shall always be
forever and ever
in love with thee
