Into the Night
My heart, filled with yesterdays of sadness,
Wrapped around my core and dimmed my light.
My yearning left me empty
As the gray I was adrift in
Let me know I stood alone.
My soul leaked into nothingness
Thrust outward without human connection
What I possessed useless, hollow
I fell into the black void
Stretched to eternity
One amongst the ashes.
