Kelly and Nick fall madly in love but are torn apart by Nick's past.
When Kelly Hamilton meets Nick Morgan, their attraction is instantaneous. After a whirlwind courtship, they plan to marry. As Nick’s past indiscretions catch up with him, those plans are shattered and Kelly is left alone to pick up the pieces of her life.
Kelly moves on and meets Michael Micelli. They strike up a friendship and soon begin dating. Michael is a wonderful man who would make any woman very happy, but Kelly finds it extremely difficult to forget the piercing blue eyes that still haunt her dreams.
When Kelly and Nick are brought together at various gatherings, they both deny the attraction they still have for each other. As certain truths come to light, will these two star-crossed lovers get another chance at happiness together? Will they both realize that their lives did not begin until they met each other?
Excerpt
When Nick took her in his arms, Kelly noticed immediately that he was very muscular and an excellent dancer. Swaying softly to the music, she began to feel dizzy and rested her head on his chest and continued to follow his lead to the music.
"Were you serious when you said that you would like to get together while I'm here?"
Kelly tipped her head up and peered into his eyes. "Yes, I was."
"Do you think your parents would have any objections?"
She smiled softly at him as she gently shook her head. "None at all."
"Would David?"
"Of course not. David is your best friend."
"I just don't want to step on anyone's toes."
"Well, I'm the only one that you're dancing with, so I wouldn't worry about anyone else's toes if I were you." Kelly giggled at her own joke while feeling more than a little tipsy. To steady herself, she wrapped her arms around Nick's neck and began playing with the hair that was resting on the collar of his sports jacket. Nick was looking down into Kelly's hazel eyes and began losing all sense of reality. She touched his face and gently pulled his warm mouth down onto her full lips. The first kiss was soft and sweet, but the second kiss was more heated and urgent.
Kelly's head began to reel from the strange feelings that she was experiencing, and she knew that she had never been kissed like this before. Suddenly, she pulled away from Nick as she looked into his eyes and said, "I think I'm going to be sick." Kelly ran out of the room and upstairs to the safety of her bedroom.
"Well, I've never had that kind of an effect on a woman before," Nick said to himself

Really loved this book
It's amazing how circumstances can change in a heartbeat. This is what this book was about. Love, deceit and people who try to get what they want by using lies that destroy others. I felt so sorry for Kelly and I could feel the sorrow she felt when all her dreams went down the drain. This was a true to life story for me and it shows that good conquers evil.
Pleased to read Until I Met You.
I came across this author on Facebook and decided to give her a try. I read this book and got pretty hooked and emotionally invested in the characters. There comes a point in the book where it's frustrating seeing a disconnect between two characters who are only held apart by mistake. It left a lot to be desired and the author came through in the end.
I like the style and the story (not typically my genre) and the characters felt real and you really invest yourself in their fates. I plan on reading more from this author
Great Loving Romance
As I got into the story it made me happier and happier. I read the whole book in one entire day even though it was over 200 pages. If you have children, you know this is quite a feat to take on! I just did not want to stop finding out what was going to happen next. This book was such a smooth and easy transitioning read that I was at the end of it quicker than I ever thought I would be. Nick and Kelly share a love that is so filled with passion that it made me smile from ear to ear. Their type of love is what others sometimes can only dream about finding in their lifetime. Of course with every romance there were obstacles that they were going to have to overcome along the way. I loved all the supporting characters of the story because they helping tell it even more than if it would have just been focused around Nick and Kelly. Supporting characters when they are good, like in this case, help to make the story feel even that much more genuine and relatable for the reader.
Nick and Kelly's characters pulled at my heart strings. A lot of people seem to think that novels that are more than 200 pages are too long, but in my philosophy the longer the better. I love to be engrossed in a story and have more and more detail to draw me into it.
This was my first read from this author and I am definitely going to be looking into more!
