Hugs and Kisses was written to help aide parents/counslers in the revealing of abuse with a child. it's sometime difficult for parents to open and/or deal with this issue when it comes to love one. Hugs and Kisses can help the child be comfortable enough to open up about it.

                                             Hugs and Kisses

This story contains graphic story lines. It should be read by an adult before introducing to the intended subject. Discussions are recommended before, during and after its introduction. Its purpose is solely to help “aide” in the revealing of actual and/or suspected child abuse.

This story is a must have in children services and counseling. It’s a great book for the home library as well.   It can be a stepping board, to help children open up, about abuse.  Included is a question and answer; that can be given to the child and/or children as a study training course as well.   Parents sometime find it difficult to address these issues with their children or loved ones, so let Hugs and Kisses become apart of your library.  It could very well help save a child.

Educational
This book is a way to bring up the subject of sexual abuse with your child. It is a teaching tool and should be used as such.

The story is of Tracy and her friend Jean, they discuss the problems of touching and what is allowable and what is not.
Jean teaches Tracy that it is okay to tell someone if you are touched in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable.

The story is difficult for an adult to read, but it is necessary to be aware of the facts. I believe that children will respond well to the lessons this story teaches.

It shows how sad our world has become when we as parents have to turn to books like this to warn our children about the possibility of abuse by someone they may love. The questions at the end of the story will help with questions that your child may have. I plan on reading it to my granddaughter when she is age appropriate, with her parent’s permission.

This is a very nice guide to assisting children with the awful subject of abuse. It is easy to read for a child and for an adult to read to a child. It has conflicts and resolutions to those conflicts that anyone can understand. This is a great guide in assisting children in a difficult subject. Kudos!
