We have all felt a little hopeless sometimes... We've felt as though the sun had stopped shining for us. There are some flowes that give their blooms to the moon. "Beneath the Paler Sun" is a book of poetry revealing the shadows that we may find ourselves in. Even in darkness, a light will always shine. Even in the darkest of night's hours, there are flowers that thrive and bloom because they've not given up and sought comfort in the moon. 

Lori Maynard grew up in the original Small Town USA, Alexandria, IN. She has enjoyed being in several publications as well as winning numerous awards for her works. Poetry was always one of Lori's greatest passions in life. After being diagnosed with severe Gastroparesis in 2015 (incurable), she has re-wroked some of her poetry and other projects to present to the world.
