Power, money and recognition in the community are all things that come naturally to Myron Parker. His status gives him the prestige he needs to make a difference in the community; he's running for political office. He wants to be mayor of the fair city of Detroit. He has the right backing, the right publicist and even the right stand on issues, only he has the wrong image to pull it all together.

Nothing can ruin it until a series of burglaries threatens to destroy Myron's business and his reputation. A jilted lover is ready to slander him in the press and there's someone out to annihilate whatever happiness Myron could ever hope to achieve.
