My interest in skateboarding probably really started when I was a young boy skating on quad roller skates on the sidewalks of Los Angeles, California. While we were going down the sidewalk we liked to go flying off the concrete driveways and curb edges. I am probably one of those original skateboarders you hear about with the skates nailed to 2 x 4's or boards.
