Manuscript to Book
As every writer knows, achieving the mastered hierarchy of publishing, is set in motion not only by the quality of one’s work within the manuscript itself, but also includes the work put into it once published. Until a manuscript is sent to the printers, anything can be negotiated, and with certain circumstances, even at the printers things can be changed. It is very seldom we hear about the writer propelled into the literary world from the work of one book. After saying that, it can happen, however, your work is an uphill battle and the work you put into the manuscript will be shadowed by the work that is yet to come. Publishing is a complex system of layers. Not every layer is difficult, but most do include levels or steps that bring you closer to the overall goal. You have to be prepared to wait one moment, and then next you may find yourself hurrying to meet your deadline. Instead of letting the work get to you, be prepared to thoroughly execute every step. Sometimes you may question the reason for these steps, but in the end, you will see how each step sets you up for success.
