A local prison psychologist discovers her true colours as a formidable profiler when faced with her former mentor, a once celebrated Oxford criminologist (and later revealed serial murderer) now being questioned for his possible involvement in copycat crimes being committed.

Murders similar to those once committed by the now incarcerated Dr. Penderan Fauste begin to occur in New England. The cavalier FBI Special Agent Dalston Lockwood is placed in charge of the investigation but is curiously denied access to Fauste. Riley Wingate, however, now a crime scene specialist, then a student of Dr. Fauste's, seems his perfect solution. As the race to apprehend The Cheshire Cat continues, it becomes increasingly evident to Lockwood that Wingate is being far from forthright regarding her former associations with Dr. Fauste. Soon the evidence forces her to examine that her secrecy may prove deadly. In a crime-ridden world turned-upside-down from a descent into Wonderland, only the vigilant survive.

Aubigne Spratling is an inspiration to me. Her phosphorescent glow exudes in her writing style and she should be worshipped by building altars and sacrificing small rodents.
Revenge is Fun series. Millions of dollars are missing from the Venice Canals HOA and so are the Vice President and Treasurer. Were they kidnapped? Where is the money? Twists galore and a surprise ending with humor along the way.
