  Your poems are so beautiful. I love the way you write about nature, it truly comes alive in your verses. And the way you feel about your father is so evocative. I have always loved my parents, but writing about them made me experience all sorts of emotions that I cannot explain. Putting their life into words has made them a permanent part of me. I suppose this must be true for you too. I remember saying at the litfest  that every family is special. And when I read about your family, I can see that I was absolutely right. Thank you for your kind words about my father. I will show him what you wrote. Wishing you a wonderful new year,

 Author’s Note

 This book is also meant to help inculcate in  youth the importance of remembering the sacrifices of their parents and  respect senior citizens.

 My honor and respect to all great leaders,  for the values they adhered and developed each day. I look back and see   the magnanimity , commitment,  striking dedication and selfless service  throughout their lives. How important some of  them have been in shaping the tomorrow. Their symphony of love playing beautiful notes in our lives today.

  I would like to share  a quote by Mahatma Gandhi which is indicative of his own attitude: “I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want cultures of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.”
