The Tao of HB is not is not just another poetry book. it is a book that portrays some very harsh realities in life. The five chapters of The Tao take the reader through a four year period of the author's life while dealing with the calamities of divorce, drug use, gambling addiction, frustration and self discovery. Very upfront and sometimes graphic, these poems are written in an easily understood bootleg form of American poetry.

sounds like a good honest book, one thing about the verse curse is that poets have a tendency to spill the beans, i use do mother in law verse until one day i finally figure i was in enough trouble with my wifes family, so now i stay away from this type poetry

I personaly have not read the book, but have however read some of your poetry Mr. Clayton and thought it was outstanding. In saying that I did order the book and will post my coments on this review when I have completed the it.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
