This book is a way to bring up the subject of sexual abuse with your child. It is a teaching tool and should be used as such.

The story is of Tracy and her friend Jean, they discuss the problems of touching and what is allowable and what is not.
Jean teaches Tracy that it is okay to tell someone if you are touched in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable.

The story is difficult for an adult to read, but it is necessary to be aware of the facts. I believe that children will respond well to the lessons this story teaches.

It shows how sad our world has become when we as parents have to turn to books like this to warn our children about the possibility of abuse by someone they may love. The questions at the end of the story will help with questions that your child may have. I plan on reading it to my granddaughter when she is age appropriate, with her parent’s permission.

This is a very nice guide to assisting children with the awful subject of abuse. It is easy to read for a child and for an adult to read to a child. It has conflicts and resolutions to those conflicts that anyone can understand. This is a great guide in assisting children in a difficult subject. Kudos!
