Landon and Joan are a biker couple from Ky who take a trip to the Smoky Mountains for a romantic weekend getaway. They find themselves in a battle for their lives as an outlaw biker named Road Dog is after them to avenge his brother's death thirty years earlier. Landon and Joan had never met Road Dog and have no idea why he wants to kill them until they leave the Smokies and go to Arkansas to try and lose him. By the time they arrive in Arkansas, Road Dog is on the FBI's most wanted list for the string of robberies, rapes and murders that he committed across three states while pursuing Landon and Joan. Captain Rick Parker of the Arkansas State Police help Landon figure out who Road Dog is, why he wants to kill him, and helps bring an end to his terror that has a nation held in a grip of fear.
Landon and Joan's lives were pretty simple before they started being hunted by Road Dog. Landon was a carpenter, building new homes for the upper class of society. Joan was a nurse in a nursing home, caring for the elderly. They both loved riding Landon's Harley on their time off from work and on the weekends.
Landon proposes to Joan while in the Smoky Mountains, but their romantic time together turns into their worst nightmare when they realize that Road Dog wants to kill them.
This story starts in Kentucky, goes into Tennessee, and ends in Arkansas. The author Kenny Lee, mixes fact with fiction in this cutting edge suspense thriller that you can't put down.

Butch was hiding in the woods afraid to move. F.B.I. agents and State Police were everywhere. They had found the girl's body and was turning over every leaf for evidence.
Butch was laying on the ground, flat on his stomach in some brush. He couldn't stand up because he would be seen. He carefully and quietly started inching his way backwards. Sweat poured down his face, and his heart beat so fast that he thought it would explode. He crept backwards until he could see no more cops. He slowly got to his knees, turned and headed down the hill. He hadn't taken three steps when he stopped dead in his tracks. Fifty feet away he saw an F.B.I. agent relieving himself behind a tree.
Butch pulled out his pistol and aimed it at his head. His hands were shaking as he pulled the trigger. The agent died instantly as the bullet went through the back of his head.
