On a winter visit to Daytona Beach in Florida, I walked the beach and was surprised to find Pelicans quietly resting in the sun. They were very relaxed and let you walk right up to them. While I was photographing a beautifully groomed Pelican, a small seagull walked up and stood beside the pelican. He never left.
