As a man claiming to be Jesus Christ interrupts the 2006 Winter Olympics at Turin, Italy, the team of generation x/y scientists who resurrected him from the quantum structure of the Shroud of Turin go through their own religious struggles, while the mysterious corporation behind it all stage-manages Jesus like Elian Gonzales. The performance of miracles splits the world into two armed camps, even as the Shroud Man announces that he's forming an army to subjugate the world, causing chaos. Dr. A'ny Daniels, a 30-y.o. scientist who looks 75 because of failed immortality experiments, and his partner Da Peak, all of 15 years old, mirror the world's turmoils, even while being protected by the company. Their 3-way marriage with Shania, another scientist, becomes 4-way with the entrance of Prep H, another scientist, into their razzle dazzle. The researches into the past to discover if the Shroud Man is really Christ, or perhaps Satan's son the Antichrist, can't keep up with the Shroud Man's army, which, adopting the ancient red cross tunics of the Knights Templar, is busy conquering the world with amazing new weapons.
