"Helluva party," Buck Johnson mumbled as he staggered across the dining room of his spacious Texas mansion. "Bring me another one of them Jack Daniels, Dollie Mae," he hollered to his son Jeb's fiancee. Standing at the open sliding glass doors, he stared out at the huge patio that extended past the fountain sparkling with red, green and blue spotlights, into the darkness at the far end. There, a large brick barbecue pit and a bar flanked the pool. All mine, he thought. I built this whole spread on my own, from nothin'.
